So got to lake Anita early and on the water 6:30am. Had to wait a bit longer for the sunlight before I could head out. The lake is still about 2’ low but not as low as last year. Wt 43-44* I tryed the normal early season baits but the only thing I could get a bite on was a crawl bait on deeper structure. For me this morning the bass weren’t up shallow, maybe if I fished later in the afternoon (I was on the road back home by 12:30) caught 7-8ish total best was 3lb smallest 14”. Good time for sure.
