I am looking at a a 2016 x21 with a 2 stroke mercury 225. Are these boats similar to other aluminums and will blown around a lot? Also what kind of speed would I expect form this boat and motor. Also how does the front deck compare to other similarly sized aluminum and fiberglass boats. Thanks

I would say with a ultrex the wind doesn't matter anymore, with the slight difference in wind movement between the xpress and fiberglass. The Hyperlift hull is not like other aluminum hulls and for speed just a guess but 65ish loaded but that assumes boat is setup well.

I bought an X21 a year ago and it has a Yamaha 200hp Sho. With Wife, 2 kids, and myself in the boat loaded, we did 62.4 mph top end. At the time I had only approximately 15 hours on it so I was still breaking it in. I have a 12" hydraulic jackplate and I put a 25P FXP prop on it. Hope this gives you some sort of idea/comparison.
