Repowering my 2012 721 with a new pro xs 4 stroke. What are most folks running for a prop with this setup. Ran a 26p fury on the 2 stroke, but I believe mercury is recommending something smaller with the 4 strokes.

What kind of rpms are you getting?
A 24 fury on a 4 stroke runs similar to a 25 on a 2 stroke. A 25 on a 4 stroke runs similar to a 26 on a 2 stroke. Overall my buddies with a 721 and the 4 stroke like the 24 fury better in all conditions but the 25 fury was about 1 mph faster in cold weather light load.

What speeds are you getting with this set up at what RPM? Anyone using the plugs on the props?
Phoenix 2017, 721 Pro Xp, 250 SHO
I have a 2019 721 with 4S. Running a 24 3 blade fury with 10" atlas hydraulic. 3/4 tank of gas, tourney load with partner and his equipment I can run 74-76 with the right chop on the lake. I currently read off the analog gauge and it is close to being dimed out at 6k running that load and speeds. If I had to say i wouldn't doubt the RPMs are around 5850-6k. All my plugs have stayed in. Never had a reason/need to pull them. Performance is great on low and high end
