    Best deal on bulk silicone skirt tabs

    I’m looking for a new place to get bulk silicone. I was buying from lurepartsonline and they keep messing up my orders. Bossskirts are trash. Anyone have any better recommendations. I know about Barlows, but I’m looking for a better deal. Also looking for that wide flat rubber skirt material for cold water spinnerbaits. Thanks

    They stink and are stiff and oily. I’ve had them laid out for weeks and they still smell awful. Emailed customer service and they told me fish can’t smell.

    At one time there were 4 manufacturers of silicone skirt tabs. I'm not sure how many are left but they are all based in Vietnam so you get the same material no matter where you go. What happened is you got some that were very new so you still get the dye and silicone scent which is similar to gasoline. When you get them like that simply fill a small bucket with warm water and Dawn dish detergent and throw them in there for an hour or so. Then rinse with warm water and let them dry somewhere with good air flow for a few days and most of the scent will be gone.

    Skirts Plus is another option. Depends on how many you want to purchase at a time. Minimum order is 1000 tabs.

    I will have to give these guys a try. Last night I was going thru and making some spinnerbait and jig skirts and seeing the prices I was paying at the local shop, 5 bucks for 10-15 tabs, yeah, I will double up for 100. LOL
