Grand Lake Honey Creek Parking

Came over Saturday to fish the Nichols tournament Sunday( I am from Northwest AR). We really have a good time on Grand and fishing the Nichols. They usually bite for us but not this Sunday. We only had two keepers and lost one on a dock about 30 minutes before weigh. It was tough and really thoguht the fishing would bust loose! Caught one on spinnerbait and one on square bill in mid lake area.

Anyway, I have been putting in a Honey Creek for years. Not the best ramp but a good place on the lake to fish mid lake. I received a parking ticket for $20 on Sturday!!!! I have never paid to park there and didn't know you had to. Did they change that and if so, does the money go to the lake?

Not sure where the money goes but they need to improve their signage. Had the same thing happen at a ramp on the lower end and there were no signs. You would think they could use some of the $ to put more signs out. Thanks for the report.
