    Chatterbaits and rocks

Do you guys have any luck fishing chatterbaits in mostly rocky lakes? my home lake has very little grass and it seems most fish them around grass.

We don't have many lakes without grass around here, but I've done very well fishing them on the river where there is no grass around. They absolutely work in those types of places!

Absolutely. Mostly what we have around here. Best advice would be parallel the bank and look for targets.

Chatterbait will work just about anywhere and everywhere. The only place I shy away is in heavy wood simply because they just don't come through it well.
I've got several 1 ouncers I'll slow roll deep offshore on ledges and rock piles in the summer.

They work everywhere. I can't think of any lure innovations in the last 15 years that can touch the bladed jig. I always have one on my deck... usually 2. They flat out catch them!

Ok, that is cool! I'm gonna grab some 3/4 for lake roosevelt, those smallies won't know what hit them.

Yep they catch them anywhere. But don’t forget about the good old spinnerbait either. I’ve noticed since the surge of chatterbait fishing my catch rate has went back up on them

Check out Revenge chatter baits. They have a trailer keeper built into the top of the head which makes it completely weedless.
