Never take them off the boat unless Im at a motel. They take a larger beating on the water than they ever would on the highway. Try harbor freight

How many rocks fly up at you while going down the lake? Following legit Britt doesn’t count

None. I dont have them mounted on those hi riser mounts like most of you. Mine are mounted to the deck and behind the console. Up here we stay on the roads, we dont have to do the back country trails

I’m glad everyone you live near never runs off the road. In the past 2 weeks I have gotten behind two trucks where gravel was flying off it. A dump truck and a logging truck.

Wow, some of you guys are a little sensitive... I keep my boat in a neighborhood and under a carport so I'm not leaving them on all the time. I also have heard of people dropping them when they are carrying to or from the house or truck. I just want something inexpensive that will help minimize the risk of dropping and breaking $3k when it could be avoided

I park mine under a carport and I leave them on along with fishing rods on the deck and all compartments unlocked ..... that blatant disregard for security scares the hell out of a would be thief!
