    Kerr

Thinking about coming down that way in April. Any places to stay near Clarksville? Used to fish that section of the lake in the 90's. What's the fishing like now? Used to get a lot of good ones from Buffalo and Grassy years ago.

A quick Google shows several chain motels in Clarksville and a few independents. I've not fished Kerr but my neighbor makes a couple trips there each year with his brother and they've been doing very well for numbers of fish the past two years with some decent size as well. Fishing should be pretty good from now through May.

The Hampton Inn in South Hill has truck/boat parking with electrical outlets. Am told if you call to make your reservation and tell them your a fisherman you will get a VERY good rate.
