    Second prop

13 p2. Tossing the ideal up about a second prop. Wat i have discovered is i on run WOT maybe once or twice a trip. I tend to hang around 55 to 60 mph. Looking for maybe more mid range performance. Props are so expensive to be gambling on "this is the right prop". The fury 4 i think is out. My conclusion is either a trophy or bravo 1 either a xs or fs who knows? Problem is pitches. Wat pitch in these 4 blades. Not wanting to play the chasing game. Currently running a 25 fury 3 blade at 5650 to 5700 rpm.

Get a Bravo 1XS in 26 pitch, it will do what you want.

Is the only difference in the fs and xs the extra vent holes? If so i would think with the p2 being a rocket outta the hole is 8 needed. I know you you can plug them i was curious the difference

I've read people complaining about the Fury 4, but I've been running mine with no problems. Love the increased performance/handling. Miss the top-speed.

I read alot but just not alot imformation out there on the p2. I like the speed and dont really wanna suffice to much on the speed. As i stated i THINK the trophy plus with a blow ring or the bravo is the prop. But im strictly guessing! I was hoping BCB maybe the man himself would chime in on this. The p2 has been around a long time along with the optimax. Im sure they have run many different props and pitches on the p2. The fury worked by ronnie is a good prop. I need a spare and who knows if i like it well enough leave it on . Guess what want is the best of both worlds

I had a 2013 p2 merc pro xs. Ran 73 solo. 70-71 2 people. 26 fury 3 blade. Holeshot everybody. You could prolly run a 25 bravo 1xs. Its alot of money not to know tho.

Have you tried a 24” Fury propeller for some added mid range pop. Often just dropping an inch does the job better.

Hey Redngoo I have a B&B 25P Trophy, a 25P B&B fury 3 blade and a B&B 25P A45 Tempest that you can try. All props hve been worked by Mark Croxton. I am probably gonna sell one or two of these. I have a 2020 Puma with a 250 4-stroke. So far the fastest prop I have run is a 27P unworked Tempest. A worked 25p Fury 3blade has been very good too. If you want to meet me up at Smith Lake dam one day, you and I can try several different props, have a little test and tune day. LOL Text me at 205-908-1365.

Ive got the 24 fury 3 to test. Do i need to raise or lower the motor? Currently im currently at about 3 3/8" ptp measuring the old fashion way. Adjusting will be easy with the hyd jackplate. Open for starting suggestion from all! Especially BCB.

Since your previous prop was a 3 blade Fury, test it with the JP set in its current position.

Back a few years ago we ran a 24 or 25 Trophy on our factory boat for staff use. It was a little sluggish on bottom as most Trophy props are, though excellent in all other areas.

Bcb, or someone that has went from a 25 fury 3 to a 24 fury 3. Currently im running no plugs with the 25. I assume i need none in the 24. Is this correct? I still haven't got to run the 24 as the water is really rolling due to the current storms and heavy rain.

That's right Jimmy. All holes open on the 24 as well. Good luck with it.

On my '07 P2 with a 200 Opti my favorite prop was actually a 25 Hi-5. I could get 65-66 out of it, the holeshot was as good as you're gonna get, I could stay on plane at 17mph and the handling was fantastic especially in rough water (better than 26 Fury, 25 Tempest or 24 Trophy). The only issue I ever had was that when it was cold I'd hit the limiter.

Got to semi run the 24 fury today though the water where i fish is still fairly trashy from all the rains
    Things i did notice
Slightly better hole than the Gilbert worked 25
Midrange slightly better, better punch for sure.
Top end did not get to try. Wasnt gna be foolish

Early assessment tells me this prop could be good. Still most likely will need Ronnies handy work performed on it.

Maybe in the coming days i can get some top end numbers and Rpm's
