    Was bound to happen sooner or later because they have been caught in Lake Anna. Unfortunately that means they will be in the Mattaponi soon if not already. And I will second the eating part of it because they are excellent table fare!

    I dont think they're as big a deal as some people say. A few years ago people were proclaiming them to be the death of the Potomac as a bass fishery, but they seem to be coexsisting in there pretty well. People are still weighing in 20lb bags years later.

    I agree. But at the same time it gets frustrating when you're fishing a bass tournament and catch 8 snakeheads. They do fight, and give some killer topwater blow ups, but it's disappointing when you think you've got a 5 pound largemouth only to see an ugly eel looking creature with nasty teeth come up to the water.
