National Pro Fishing League starts this week.

Debut of a new series starts Thursday. Looks like Live Streaming all 3 days. Lots of new names fishing for Big Money. Might have to tune if for a bit.

I wonder who these folks are. Who is behind it,who is running the show, where are they getting the money? I’m not against them at all,I think it’s great to give more anglers more opportunities, but it takes big money to put together a deal like this and they just sorta popped up out of nowhere. I’m just curious who they are,I looked at the “About us” on the site but there’s little info there. Anyone know more about them?

There are about 14 guys from Ohio fishing the series. Some good sticks.

I will let it play in the background while working. Will see if I enjoy it or not. I like that they are fishing through the fall not a bunch spring tournments that are all around the spawn. Will be interesting seeing haris chain in june instead of january february march like everyone always does.

Landon Tucker is the son of JTodd Tucker and Grandson of Butch. I can remember back in the old BFHP days Butch pushing JTodd when he started, now it's 3rd Generation.

I looked at their angler lineup the other day and noticed a guy missing an arm in the pic. So naturally, I looked into the guy more. I tell you what, he is one I will be pulling for. Hunter Baughman is his name. His situation is very similar to Clay Dyer, who is just an awesome human being.

Reading a few articles about Hunter, he seems to be a great dude and can flat out catch them. Any of you Arkansas folks know him or fish against him?

Really good friend fishing that series. Excited to follow along and see how he stacks up against other guys from around the country.

They have some good stick on the roster. I'm looking forward to following it. Seems very well ran so far.

I dunno, but I laugh as I got the invite for the toyota series, is that like the old costas? I guess anyone with money can fish and no qualifications?

Owners of Cashion rods and Omega tackle are behind this league.

I think I will be following Eric Jackson, from Jackson kayaks. Dude wears coveralls, old school style.

It is like a High Stakes Poker game. Big entry fee with great payouts for the top anglers. Guess the difference between this and the Tour's is there was not really a qualification process. Time will tell if it works.

Is Fat Cat a thing? I’ve never heard of him before. I agree with PJ. Dudley will be hard to stomach.
There’s no use being stupid if you’re not willing to show it off.

I hope they are very successful and establish themselves as a longterm, viable trail.
