I grabbed this screenshot from another post just made in the general Garmin section. I chased this bright area (red arrow) on the LS screen for an hour off a point thinking they were baitfish. It stayed 40 feet away so I just thought they were moving as I tried to approach them. Anyone else been fooled and have any ideas for tweaking the settings to avoid this bright spot. It seems to be an area where the "rays" of return cross multiple times causing a false positive. Probably just an unavoidable occurrence with a higher gain/noise setting but hoped someone might have ideas about it.
