    F205 @ 78-80 MPH

Stumbled across these vids on youtube of this guy getting his 2019 F205 with a Yamaha SHO 250 just dialed in. Running 78+!

Seems these boats are very setup sensitive. But, man, that's cookin!

Tons on insight in to props and setup.

thats my buddy Dustin.....he will help get your boat set up correctly.....falcons need weight distributed correctly and needs to be propped correctly. Im working with him back and forth on my 215 now to get it set up right. He's damn good at it thats for sure. He posts a lot on facebook falcon pages as well.

All I know is that thing is haulin ass. For such a wide, heavy boat I'm kinda shocked he's getting those kind of speeds out of it. That'll be a 80+ boat with the motor flashed.

You'd think Falcon would have tested the ever living piss out of these boats and know how to set them up from the start. It boggles my mind that it's like "hey, buy our $70,000 boat! Good luck with your setup! Cause, we don't know!"

Not uncommon at all when your taking about purely maximum top end speed. I agree that manufactures should though. They tested the predator hull a lot more I know for sure. I can Think of a couple boat brands were they should’ve done that with their hull and started over from scratch.

They would definitely have more sales if people would know the true speed capabilities out of these boats.....I'll try getting my other buddy John to post the video of is 215 he has thats loaded.....I think hes getting 73-74 out of his....maybe more. He has a great video of him doing 70+ and the front end is completely still......zero movement. Dustin has been helping get his set up correctly as well!

    I'm running a Predator and it is a legit 75mph boat and 72-73 with a partner , full live wells 71-72. I'm running a 23 fury.

I feel like you should be getting more out of it. It's supposed to be a faster hull than the 205.

The boat will run 76.2 tournament loaded with me , add full live wells 74, the speeds I posted above are loaded, 2- 230# guys , 1/2 tank of fuel. The boat is not as sensitive to weigh distribution as the F20 hull , I run a balanced load because I fish solo mainly.

I’m running a 23p Fury as well. The hole shot in mine is so fast I have to back off to avoid blowing out. I’m going to go to a 24p and see if I can get some more speed.

I run 74-76 loaded on the stock scorpion prop. I just had to add a hydro jackplate.

I'm a fairly new boater and have 215. I've hit 71 with 500lbs of boater/passenger and a full tank of gas. Moderate level of gear. Maxed out at 5800 rpm so need to figure out the jack plate height but think it still has a couple mph to go.

What motor are you running? Also if you notice in Dustin's videos he will trim up first......lower the trim if hes throwing a tail and then adjust jack plate from there......start off there first. Also if your truly trying to get the most performance out of your boat you need to figure out the correct prop and get it sent off and balanced and blue printed to make sure its at its peak and then go from there.
