Looking to stay one night in Sulphur Springs area. Will be towing a boat.
Any recommendations on hotel that has good parking for boat...and is safe.
Thanks for any help you can provide, Joe

Depends on which hotel I am sure
Small town, but anywhere an interstate runs through will have some undesirables.
I would not leave easily accessible items laying around anywhere in the U.S.
That's just me. If it ain't there, they can't steal it!
Overall, you should be fine. Just use good common sense
Heck even at my house I don't leave things that can easily be stolen on. Rod locker is always unlocked, cause all a lock does is cause more damage. just take the rods out too

Consider getting a baby monitor and setting in the boat and keep the other one in the room. At least you can hear them if someone is messing around near the boat.
I always try to get a room on the lower floor and try to park by the room. I also do a google maps satellite view to see how the places are laid out, parking and just how the area around is.
Fished at Amistad once, room was on one side of the building and parking was on the other, bet I checked on the boat five times during the night and didn't get any sleep. i hate having a boat at a motel without being able to have a line of sight view from my window. I alwasy unload everything and bring in my graphs. Current boat has a flush mount graph, which would be a pain to remive for me, but not so much for a thief that didn't care what he broke to get it out.
I live outside of SS, the Clarion, La Quita Inn, The Hampton all should be good for you. With that said, still need to watch your stuff.
