I'm not really a ranger fan but the ranger intercoastal is a slick ride

Look for a Big-O, and there was another brand that was made in Florida along the same lines as the Big-O that I can't remember the name of. But they were kind of a crossbreed of a bassboat and a flats boat.

Sterling make a awesome flats boat that you can use for both. Biggest problem I have found is the trailer that comes with the rig if you are going to use it in salt. My RT198 came on an aluminum trailer as I fish Fresh, Brackish, and salt. (No carpet in the boat either.) I had a Ranger 518 Intercoastal and that was awesome. Ranger no longer makes the Intercoastal line.

I agree with Mike. A 22SF would be sweet.

Egret if you want the top of the line. Great ride and hold their value better than any bass boat. Rides like a 24 foot bay boat. I looked hard at one a while back to do exactly what you’re wanting to do. Sterling was my second choice. My main criteria was Bass boat like rod storage.

If you want a really sexy version of all of this, the Yellowfin 21 Hybrid is just bad to the bone.

Not sure your price point, but here are a few. The last 3 are a bit expensive. I was looking at the same thing a year ago and settled on a Vexus CC because my two boys and wife like to ride.
