    Proper Mount for HDS 12 at console

    I have an 08 Skeeter FX21. I would like to mount my HDS 12 on a mount similar to the Balzout Mount with the adjustable arms, etc. However, on the FX 21 the side of the console seems to be the only place to mount it and that surface is curved enough to give me concern about tightening bolts in the base possibly cracking the fiberglass or the gelcoat. Am I underestimating the strength of the fiberglass or should I be looking for a different place/way to mount this graph? Thanks for any and all help.
