I have no dog in the fight as I run an aluminum boat. But I did get a looksee at a 2020 Ranger 520L the other day and my God that boat was beautiful and well put together. That's all i got.
What was the point of that comment ??
Now watch someone bash me, because you wanted to stir the pot??
As a 3 time ( boats) Ranger owner, thought it would be a positive post??
I’m knot even sure where to jump in at
2020 Nitro Z20 Pro Package
The aluminum boats are now under the same roof.
My 2017 has by far been the most reliable of the three Rangers I’ve owned. I’m glad mine doesn’t have a tube trailer. That being said Ranger did not build the trailers for the aluminum boats to the same overbuilt standard as the trailers for the glass boats.
Glad all those folks are still employed. I wonder how many of them used to build Champions?
The difference I see is the high volume manufactures have caught up in price with the low volume go fast rigs. We used to think the prices on those rigs were out of reach. You’re right, these days it’s pretty competitive across the board.
I never dreamed a loaded up 18’ tin rig with a 115 would cost 30,000.
My 2017 RT188 is pretty loaded with options and by time I paid TN taxes and the longest Platinum Merc Warranty I was all over 30K. The 198 came out not long after I bought mine. No one around here had one at the time. I bet by time you put all the same stuff on that boat it’ll be all over 40K.
I went to Rangers site and built one, 38,306 without taxes and extended warranty.
THE MORE YOU SAY THE MORE WE UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT YOU ANYWAYS
