What kind of tire pressure gauge u guys using?

I have been using a precision round gauge for years and years. Just noticed it will not return to zero it sticks at 5 pounds. But seems to b pretty accurate. No tire pressure lights on in vehicles.

You need to check accuracy by testing a few on the same tire. They do wear out.

I have this one and like it. I like that it "remembers" the pressure once you remove it from the tire and also has a pressure release so you can easily bleed air out if need be. I've also not had any issues with losing air while trying to get a reading.

Still rocking a 20+ year-old Brookstone one. It matches the gauges on the three compressors that I have kicking around closely. Have a newer HFT one that's off by 20%

How do you know if any of these are reading a correct value?

Unless you have access to a calibrated gauge you really don't know if yours is accurate.
I never did like them, but the pencil SEEMS to maintain its accuracy the longest.

Compare yours to a neighbor, your tire guys, etc. If they aren't the same, you'll need another comparison.

I have several Slimes and 4 or more generic ones. Most are the same, but I had one last year, that I didn't trust when it read 40 psi, but the tire looked full (65 psi). It was bad and tossed.

Never trusted cheap tire pressure gauges, so bought a Craftsman dial gauge. It read at least 5 psi higher than actual, maybe 10 psi. I threw it away, after it cost me a set of tires on the boat trailer. I've been using a $2 Campbell-Hausfeld from Lowe's or HD. I asked the guy at Discount Tire to compare it to his, and they matched well.
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I killed a 12-pack just to watch it die.
