    Boat prices in 1990

Anyone old enough to remember how much a Sprint sold for when new in 1990?

I bought a 1989 Stratos 201 Pro in 1995 for 5 grand, needed a grand worth of work but it was a good ride.

Thanks for the reply, I have a Winner but that forum was closed. The Sprints are very similar and had a fellow Winner owner say he bought a 1990 model from a guy that said he paid 27k new for it. I bought my ‘86 model in ‘88 and I think the guy paid 12k and it was really loaded. I find it hard to believe any boat cost 27k in 1990 but thought I’d ask

I would think a big loaded up rig could have back then.

Yeah, It just boggles my mind to see that a new loaded bass boat can cost upwards of $80k (or more). I love fishing but not that much. Besides it's not the boat that puts fish in the live well is it ?
