    Who's Got the Scoop?

    Was curious about who manufactures the new Kistler reels. Only thing Trey admits to is their being manufactured in South Korea, but denies it being Banax or Doyo. I noticed that they look a LOT like the "Favorite Fishing"'s Soleus reel, but i don't know who makes their stuff either. Anyone got any info. on this?

    Me as well. Bannax and Doyo make most of the US domestic reels sold other than Daiwa and Shimano, regardless of the name slapped on them. I was just curious if anyone knew.

    I like and have many Daiwa reels. The newer C series casting reels (CA, CR, CC) are Doyo reels though. Which I feel they make solid reels. Not familiar with the Kistler reels though
