I think its the transom saver that goes from lower unit to trailer. That's what came on my z19.
My 2021 z20 came with a long silver fork that goes from the lower unit to trailer.
It goes to the trailer. I still do but for 35$ on Amazon I got one "extreme max" transom saver. Much stronger than stock. I closed up the "V" some to hold the motor straight and snug

Comes with the old style, I just got rid of 3 of those.
I use the TH Marine Transon Sticks and motor clips, cheaper then anything else and just as good. Plus easy to store.

Just ordered Geiger Tec's model. Comes with clips too. Pricey! But I like that there are not welds. Solid piece.
I will still use the free fork nonetheless, when I store the boat with the motor trimmed down supported by the trailer.
Gave my last fork saver away when I sold my 96' Skeeter recently...so I will need another for sure!
