I was on the water today continuing to learn how to use my M360. I turned on the NAVIGATION in 360 which I had not previously done. Everything worked as it was supposed to. Whenever I used SpotLock I would see blue text like SL125 moving around the screen. I realized pretty quickly that this must be my current SpotLock position displayed on the M360, pretty cool.
I was actually scouting spawning areas and I have a SMARTSTRIKE mapping chip in the Helix. Upon entering a small cove suddently I see the same blue text spelling out SPAWNING or SPAWNING AREA??? I was using the SMARTSTRIKE chip strictly for mapping and had not entered any sort of Search request. I was too dumbfounded to take a Screenshot or even a camera picture of the screen.
Wayne or anybody:
How would the Helix/Mega360 know to display such a message?
Can I anticipate different messages like this in the future??
