Hey thanks for letting us know. I looked at the link. This looks like a little different style of tournament? Could you explain how it works for the guys/gals that might not understand the rules (me lol)

    Sure....Thanks for your interest

So its a Big bass Tournament on Lost Grove Lake.

Its an individual angler tournament (not teams)

    There are 3 sessions/weigh-ins

    Blast off at 6am
At 9am there is a weigh-in for session 1. If you have a Bass 15+ inches you want to weigh-in you come to the weigh-in point and get your fish weighed. The Biggest Bass for that 6-9am session will win 16% of the prize pool.

Session 2 is the same but runs from 9am to 12noon....Winner gets 16% of the prize pool

Session 3 is the same but runs from 12noon to 3pm....Winner gets 16% of the prize pool

Big Bass for the entire day (all 3 sessions) gets 52% of the prize pool.

Its like 3 mini tournaments with a grand prize for the whole day.

    Hope that make sense...

    Should be a fun day!

If you win session 1 can you go back out and enter a fish for session 2 and 3 also?

    Yes

All fish weighed are recorded and immediately released... Then you head out for the next session.
No fish carry over, so each session is its own mini tournament.

hi all, new to the area. I’ve never fished that lake but it’s not very large. Anyone have any idea how many boats generally fish a tournament like this?

It's limited to 40 angler's for the tournament I believe so it would 40 boats max if everyone fished solo

My guess would be 20 to 30 boats max... Many local will most likely pair up

Hope to see you there... registration is on the website www.einsweb.com
