Just got done playing around with the Gen 3 Solix 12. Faster for sure it seems all around....like it was said above....maps zoom in, out and scrolling around is very fast and precise. Touch is very quick as well.

My 15 G3 timed at exactly 60 seconds from button push to the continue screen on bootup. Its fast and responsive. Ilioe it!

I would guess BPS has a contract and a date for them to have for their spring sales. They have a bit more leverage from buying thousands of units. Usually large manufacturers sell direct as a small part of their income. Most now have an outside company to handle that job for them. I have found some online stores more responsive to my needs than the manufacturer. JMO Bob

Been in claims (multi-line) straight out of college little over 10 years ago and love every minute of it. I'm a pretty easy going, laid back, guy unlike the stories you hear with claims. It has a fan inside, but barely noticeable.

Is that inside info? I had not heard that before. A little cooler would not hurt. Probably the duel processor is the reason. I would guess it would be less noisy out on the water than in the garage. Bob

I don't hear much---sounds like a small fan---very quiet---I wouldn't worry too much about it.
