    Preseason Ritual

    <1B978379- Extracted from another thread>

    I'm sure alot of us are still covered in ice and some havent had the boat out yet, with that being said. Curious to know what you do prior to hitting the water for the first trip of the season to ensure your motor is up to snuff.

    I posted earlier about this previously, I plan to change plugs and gear oil, possibly thermostats.Will also give a good grease treatment where needed.

    Would like to hear what you all do!

    Anything I was going to do was done before I put it away.

    Nothing special. Only thing would be to fill up with a little fresh gas. Oh, and put the batteries back in!! I do the plug change after burning the winterized fuel.

    Do my annual maintenance every fall and use boat year round, no spring "wake up" here.

    If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!

    This is especially important as we don't know what you're working with (engine wise) other than it should be a "3L" model.
