    Trim indicator wire

Does a 2016 190TX have a trim indicator wire at the console? If so what color?

My 11 with 60 did as well, dug around in the console several times over looking for the "brown with white stripe" per the Mercury wire color code. Trick is the brown with white stripe that comes from the trim sender changed color at the engine wire harness. I had to peel back the wire loom from both sides of the connection under the motor cover to find out the pin with the brown with white stripe wire actually connected to either orange or yellow (cant remember it was a few years back) on the other side of the plug. Once I started looking for the right color wire at the console I was able to find it pretty quickly.

XMP if you head over to the Mercury 4 Stroke/Verado forum (assuming your Tracker has a Merc) and ask this question, gauranteed you will get the right answer. Be sure to include your motor specs AND serial number in your post because Mercury changes things and the experts there will know based on the serial number (models and years can be useless when researching Merc things, so they need S/N for everything)

Actually has more to do with the Tracker harness than the motor harness.

Fair enough, however in my experience under the dash of mine, Tracker's wire colors in their harnesses have been consistent with Merc's colors. I can only speak for my experience. Just trying to give the OP a better option than "can't remember" or "I think".....we are all just here trying to help each other.

The Merc color is as stated, brown/white and terminates under pin 'K'.
The tracker harness changes the color on my 175txw.
Found it in the under console netting that houses the warning buzzer.
Between the Merc service manual schematics and the online tracker parts drawings it was easy to find the color wire I was looking for.

Removed my voltage gauge and replaced it with a trim/tilt gauge.
