Solix Gn1 for Live imaging

What could I expect the differences to be for a Gn1 solix paired with the new live imaging versus a Gn2 or Gn3? Will the image quality be poor with a Gn1?

In reality, no one knows. Being that resolution hasnt changed, no, you should not see an degraded image quality.

A first generation SOLIX is CHIRP Sonar and CHIRP Imaging. The difference with the G2/G3 is extra power + and a different standard 2D sonar (HW) vs Dual Beam 83/200 kHz.

It states in every publication about the MEGA LIVE that ALL SOLIX units are compatible. "All" means just that.

For the MEGA 360, all G2 and G3 models will run or display it. Every model is listed on the Humminbird website for all four versions of MEGA 360. A first generation is NOT listed.

Then it wont run the mega live i would think not being able to show mega 360. I know HB says ALL solix units for the mega live but would think it would work for the mega 360 as well
