Hi all. Just purchased Active Target from Russell Marine. The question I had is which unit should I run it on? Currently i have a HDS 12 Carbon at the bow and a 12 Live at the console. Can the carbon handle it fine or should i move the live to the front and put the carbon at the dash? Thanks!

Like NoCal said - either is fine.
As you already know, the Live unit has the quick keys to switch between screens either. I would put the Live wherever you will get the most use out of those keys. I have a Live at my console and Carbon at my bow. I can't see any reason to upgrade my bow.

I think the Live would run it better due to the faster processor. I have both but haven't been able to get out and run it yet. I do see some lag on the Carbon in the garage though. Only my opinion right now without water time. You will obviously be able to figure this out on your own with both units. Let us know what is better.
