Got a 2001 Cobra 21 single console. Have a 12 inch plate running 225 Optomax. The boat struggles to hit 50MPH (by GPS). I turn a trophy 21 inch. What other prop or set up would you recommend? Max RPM is 5400.

Something is amiss, you should have no problem hitting the rev limiter with a 21. Your symptoms say you're running on five cylinders.
