Lake Guntersville Stump and Timber 7 to 10 feet

    20210225_120905.jpg20210225_120905.jpg

I run the image from my Gen 3 10 Helix Bow Unit to my Helix 12 Gen 2 Console Unit through the Ethernet. I use my Ultrex remote to troll around until I find something and then spot lock it. That way I get to troll from the comfortable drivers seat. I get a much better image on the 12 than I do the 10. This is working out well without having to spring for a 12 on the front.

Has the 360 helped you catch anything you wouldn’t have yet? I ask because I have exact same setup and fished guntersville all week. No 360 yet and have never used one. Worth?

I want more people saying “I made a cast to a direction I wouldn’t have until I saw that on 360 or marked a big fish and just happened to catch something in that area in the next 4/5 casts”

Using the original 360 I saw three large bass chasing a school of shad. As the school broke up, I cast to them and caught one of the bass that weighed 10# 13 oz. I took this screen shot before the cast---

Some more bass caught due to the 360, typically it's not the next 4/5 casts, it's the first one----

Sun angle wasn't too good for this picture but the same thing again:

The fish have not moved in here yet. To answer your question, I have caught several 4 and 5 pounders here before I had a 360. This shows why they were there.

Here is a SI shot from the Mega 360 where I did catch fish.

I saw a depression in front of the boat using the 360, made two casts and caught two fish . That was the first time using the 360. Worth it to me.

As much as I want to poke at you about the wiring around your electronics, I am in such awe at those toads you caught.

I think that is only because his boat is probably just as much of a "test bed" as it is for fishing with the whole arsenal of equipment he has used throughout the years....LOL

And when I have three units at the bow it is a little more "disorganized"
