Rear Seat Post Collar?

Anyone had this happen and what is the fix? The collar from inside the post hole came out so there is nothing for the "post hook" to gab a hold of in the hole anymore....just afraid of loosing the seat going down the lake or the road

If that is the bottom of the insert, I had it break on my 2013 721 and never replaced it. You can get a replacement from Tim. I replaced 2 or 3 on my 721 in 7 years.

tear the old one out, glue a new one in

Reached out through the website last night and Tim called me today. He is sending me one. Said I would have to make a split in the remaining sleeve and pull it out with needle nose pliers then glue and drive in replacement with a mallet. Sounds easy enough....we will see. f it does not work I will take it into the dealer. Trying to save a 3 hour round trip

Sorry bud, I missed your reply. Yep split it with a chisel and pull it out. The new one comes a wooden insert to drive it in with. I used a rubber mallet.

All good. Was easy enough....I put some glue but it is a real tight fit anyway. looks like it should hold fine
