    Question Spraying Flake?

Who is the trusted source to spray Flake? I have two spots, that are fading, and being babying them along, but in time they may need to be gelcoated or resprayed.

White Mountain Fiberglass is who most people around here use for factory warranty work and resprays. I believe Jim has used them a few times also.

Thank you, My concern is most boats here are saltwater, and not many are flake, so not sure if there is a lot of experience.

How about Fran's Fiberglass in Upton, MA (508-529-6285) I spoke with them years ago and I believe they sponsored/advertised in the Federation Guide. Supposedly did flake and helped me out over the phone.

Flake is a whole different ball game than white and most places around here are use to saltwater boats. He probably diluted the clear/flake to make it spray easier.... Never dilute clear with acetone.....

Had that happen with my last boat (90s) I got skeged before a tourny when my boat was tied up, the guy said he would pay to have it fixed took three times, it clouded up. Kind of the reason I am asking...... Flake its a different ball game
