    Texas Newbie

    I just relocated to the Houston area, if anyone in the Houston area has and open seat this weekend. I’d appreciate the opportunity. Looking forward to learning the local lakes and fishing SE Texas!

    Well I'm in the Houston area, I mainly fish Rayburn though.

    U need to get out to Fayette County lake with someone, that lake will spoil you. Fished it last Sunday and it was slow, only caught 15-20 fish.

    Bryan—I’d tag along to Rayburn, never been but it’s always been on my bucket list! Im currently Boatless Bank Trash once that’s handled I will be headed to few places.
    Hows Gibbons Creek Res?

    I fish Gibbons and you are more than welcome to join me. It’s a good lake but can be really tough. I also fish Rayburn, Toledo, Somerville and Fayette.

    THANK YOU!! I’d love to tag along and figure out this Texas fishing. I’m actually getting out in Rayburn tomorrow with another BBC’er and am beyond excited. I finally get to wet a line on lake Ive only heard about and that’s pretty awesome. All you guys/gals on the TX forum have been more then generous!! I’ll send you a DM with my cell, looking forward to meeting ya and wetting a line!!

    Finally for out to fish Rayburn... Big Water!! Aggieranger05 was nice enough to drag me along and showed me that awesome lake, Thanks man. I have to do it again.. Caught my 1st bass in Feb, pretty damn cool.
