    Lss transducer Not reading

Recently lost side and down scan.
It is my counsel unit and I have two transducer plugged in a through the hull and a lss.
When I go to down or side I have nothing. I have the same at my trolling motor and I know I have to switch channels from one to two but haven’t had to do that in the past. Should I see two channels? Or if I don’t see two channels does that mean it’s not reading the lss?
    any help greatly appreciated

    What units?
What do you mean lost? Does it say No Source or you just don’t see an image? If No Source, check power and Ethernet cable. If no image, check the source of the signal. Source should be wherever the transducer is connected. If direct connected, source would be This Unit.

    Its a live 12
It does not say no source just no image.
The transducer is direct connect and says this unit?
I have a live upfront as well and know i need that on channel two to read anything.
The counsel unit dose not offer me another channel?

At the console go to Pages, Settings, Sonar, and turn ON Multisource.
Channel 1 is your sonar channel, you need a 2D transducer connected to it.
Channel 2 is your Structure channel and the LSS2 should connect there.
Based on what you are saying, it sounds like the LSS2 is shot.

Channel 2 is the port closer to the edge. Channel 1 is the port next to the power connector. Both are 9 pins on the Live

I left my unit on and unplugged the channel 2 port the down and side scan transducer and nothing happened?
do you think the unit is not reading it or probably a bad transducer?

That’s what it sounds like. By chance, are there any other units on the network?

I have a unit up front yes. Not sure if it’s on the same network. It as well was set on single source not multi source. I think they were both set that way awhile back as I was having issues with waypoints and reading my mapping cards. I had to buy two. That’s another problem.

It sounds like there are network issues and possibly generational issues unless the bow unit is Gen 3 or above. I’ll be fishing the Delta sometime during March. Maybe meet on the water and I’ll take a look
