My order is in for a VX20

There isn’t much talk about the different props guys are using but a Fury 23P 3 Blade comes stock on the boat. I live at 2400 ft elevation and looking for guys who can suggest different props for that elevation. I was told a Tempest 25P works with gains of 2 mph or so.

Thanks for any feedback and look forward to be part of the Vexus crowd!

With todays modern outboards that have fuel injection and all of the sensors and ECM, I am not sure elevation plays such a big part as it used to. I would think that after the ECM adjusts the difference might be negligible. Just thinking out loud.

I should go in que next month (March) and hope is to have it end of April. My dealer switched his stock boat he had in line with mine otherwise it would be a longer wait time, I believe.

Your in Idaho and I'm in So Utah. I fish at 3000ft elevation. I would stick with that 23. At your elevation you might lose maybe 1 to 2 mph. Not enough to worry about as long as your in the recommended RPM range.

As long as the boat is blue you should not lose any MPH because blue is just faster

What do you think the loss is for 8500ft? It’s blue also so factor that in. I’m thinking I’ll be lucky to get 50 with 2 people.

LOL, it ain’t blue.........Going back to white with titanium gray deck and Crimson Red accent. Gonna try to get Bob’s Jackplate red and raptor poles red.

I could be mistaken but I believe its a 3 percent loss for every 1000 ft. in elevation.

I’m fitting the boat with 2 Garmin Echo 126 graphs, Garmin Force with Panoptics and Perspective, Raptor Poles, 10” Bob’s plate and will definitely have the airwave seats. Passed on the hard coat and went with flake instead.
