Z19 Battery compartment storage trays

I have a 2017 Nitro Z19 and am seeing if anyone has come across solutions for drop in storage trays (the kind that sit across the opening of the compartment). They come standard with the new Z19’s like the 20’s and 21’s have had in previous years. I’ve seen some other posts for different boats, but specifically looking to see if anyone has solved this for a Z19.

Nitro parts has them, but they are $100. Can’t even come close to justifying that much for storage trays.

Measure the opening and check WalMart or other places. Just an idea.

$100 is steep. I will say this though, those trays are built solid. They are made from very thick and strong plastic, no flex at all. I have no doubt that tray will last the life of the boat. If you do consider spending the $100, at least you know you are getting a quality part.

I never use mine I use to sell them for $50, now I just keep them for the next buyer.

I really like those trays. Had them in a Triton I had a while ago. I keep my wipe down towels and Lucas mist in it.

I keep my moto-stop, steering clips and culling beam in mine.

If you do use them, and I do as well, you might consider applying some tape to the top edge of the bilge opening. Those trays can scratch the gel coat significantly over time. Just some clear box tape will do the job.

I would suggest vinly to avoid the residue of tape. carpet will scratch the gel coat over time too.

I bought a second one from BPS. Then discovered that two will not fit, the lid support arm on the port side interferes. I tried trimming it, but still too wide. It is still very usable. We are not to far apart, I live in Olivehurst. It's your for $25, come get it or I will ship it for the cost of USPS. Send me a PM if interested.
