    LOZ Report

The lake has been frozen for over a week now. Ameren has dropped the water almost 8 feet in the past week. We suffered some serious damage to our docks. The ice that broke during the draw down is 8" in some spots
Current lake level is 556.69 !!!

Its crazy how many docks are beached right now. Forget the ice...I dont think there is a ramp on this lake you could launch from!

556.69! HOLY CHIT! Ameren said it was going to get ugly, but this may be worse than the floods a couple years ago!

we got to our place on the 29mm Saturday. so far just minor damage, but the next few days could be tough.

we saw in the cove across from us an entire dock that broke loose and was frozen in the middle of the cove.

I would guess dock companies will be backed up with work for a while.

Just took the dogs out and I can see some holes opening up out in the main channel. I went by a ramp in sunrise beach today and the closest water is 60’ from it.

Saw a couple of lanes from an ice breaker boat as I was going over the Glaize bridge today

Does anyone know if you can put in at Shawnee Bend Park Ramp? Now or after the ice melts with the lake this low?

Cant do it right now. Ice is still pretty thick. I did see some holes opening up in the main channel last night as I was driving.

Someone else may be able to tell you about the ramp at this water level. It's been years since I've launched there.

How's the lake looking now Tom? Gonna be down that way tomorrow and will have the boat in tow!

Came across the Glaize bridge and it's open. I'll take a ride by PB2 in a bit to see what the ramp looks like.
From the middle of my cove to the back of the cove is still covered with ice

    That sure beats my report!
I crossed hurricane deck bridge and it had ice on one side of the channel. Crossed the Niangua bridge and it was spotty.

PB2 (as the video shows) had warning signs on the ramp. Still had ice in the cove but it looked like there were boats going in and out

We on LOZ at Warsaw. Our cove is 75% iced. The channel is clear. Tuesday I saw a wake boarder in the channel (I am sure they had a wet suit). Yesterday at Drake Harbor a boat was breaking ice to get to the boat ramp. We drove over the mile long bridge of Truman and ice was as far as we could see with no open areas.
