How do I remove palming side bearing on Bantam MGL?

    Hi,
I will appreciated help with removing the palming plate ball bearing on a Shimano Bantam MGL. I removed the clip but I can't get the bearing out. I usually use a wire with a small bend on the end to remove bearings but I can't get it to budge with a reasonable amount of force and I don't want to damage it. I can't see anything else that's holding it in and I don't know why there is a clip is it's being held in by something else. Thanks in advance for your help.

Try these two web sites. They are the Shimano maintenance sites and schematics of their reels.
