    Ranger Trailer

I have a 2014 Ranger Trailer and noticed I have a little up and down play when the swing away is out. Maybe 1/4 inch. It may have been like this before but I just happened to notice the other day while hooking up the trailer. Is this normal or something to be concerned about? Thanks!

Thanks! Hopefully it’s normal. Everything looks good and tight on my end.

They do get a lil loose over time. You can fix this problem by tightening the bolt where the tongue swings.

Pull out the pivot bolt and inspect that and the lock pin for wear. The do wear where they contact the swing tongue.
