    2006 Etec 225 Capacitor question

    2006 Etec 225hp E225DHLSDF

So I have had 2 fuel injectors go out, and a fella on here told me I should also change the capacitor, I finally got around to it and noticed the new one was about 1inch longer and it says 63 volts, the old one says 50 volts. Was this the original style or did someone swap in the wrong part previously? Added a pic also.20210221_123959.jpg

I am just a curious person so why was the voltage increased from 50 to 63 volts? I have the same motor and like to keep up with changes. Thanks.

The voltage of the engine was not increased. Only the capacity rating of the capacitor was increased.

My thinking is they didn't have a big enough capacitor originally, seeing how the injector system is a 55 volt system they need something to handle the 55 volts
