Can someone confirm how long the cable is? My best location according to the app would require it to be placed on the roof of the detached garage and then underground to the house...right at 100 feet. Don't think the wifi would reach to the house if I ran it straight into the garage...

75' comes with it. But you can replace it with a longer one I'm sure.

4 weeks ago or so. they will not ship it until service in going in your area i heard seems to be moving south quickly. satelights tend to be mostly up over canada in the beginning but adding 60-120 satellites several times per month currently

I would check with my local electric coop before I signed up for this!!! i am working with coops in 10 states currently that are building FTTH networks. These builds are going on in all 50 states as well.

from all the testing I've see it works quite well, consistently. When I say consistently I'm talking about having about 50 mbps down with less than 60 ms latency consistently. Anything higher than 50 down and less than 60 ms is butter.


You can reliably stream 4k content at 50 mbps and 60 ms.

did you zoom in and watch the flow of satellites over your area? they are putting up several hundred per month also

I did zoom in. I looked at Ohio also, looks like I have them as close as you at times. The satellites must have a pretty good signal range. I'll know something by tomorrow.

I'm in the same boat, I'm north of Xenia by about 40 minutes and we can't get it.

A smaller company is installing fiber right now and should have it to my house in the next month or 2. It will be cheaper and far more reliable. That's what I'm waiting on now.

I was just checking the same thing. getting consistent coverage over Langston AL as well. I hope to see the email come in soon. Once it does, the wife and I are going to start working from home in Langston.
