New here. I have a 97 200 efi that is only firing on 2 bottom cylinders. It has good compression, fuel pressure, the ecu has been checked. Switch boxes replaced. Plugs. Sometimes it’ll start right up and run, shut it off won’t hit at all unless you throttle it up. Any help would be appreciated
assuming you mean one on each side ,that eliminates stator low speed ohm test trigger(possibibility) = test good = replace both boxes

Yes left bottom and right bottom are only 2 firing. I replaced both boxes when I did it started up up good ran for about 30 seconds and went back to doing the same thing.
also to add when it first started doing it it wouldn’t run in the water but would run on muffs in the driveway then it just completely went to wouldn’t on either. My trigger ohms were good when I tested those
When you say "only firing on the bottom two cylinders"- can you confirm that you've performed an actual SPARK TEST and that you have no spark on cylinders 1, 2, 3 or 4?
