Stupid question of the day. lol
I just changed my fuel water separator filter on my boat, When I took it off it was full with water. So I decided to pull the fuel in line off and hook a scifering hose to that line and sifer the gas out of the tank. I pulled the clamp twisted the hose to break the seal to try to get the hose off and couldn't do it without cutting the end off and going up on it again with the newer part of the hose. I didnt have enough slack in the line to cut some off so I said screw it, lol Does that hose that I broke free need some kind of sealant on it or will just tightening the clamp back up ok?
