Question Live Scope trolling motor question.

I currently have MK Terrova with a 45" shaft. Perfect length. I am replacing with an Ultrex that will have a Live Scope transducer mounted on the shaft. I know the LS transducer will have to be further up the TM shaft, but still be below the waterline. Can I get by with a 45" shaft on the Ultrex or do I go with the 52" shaft to be safe ?

Thanks guys. Was hoping the 45" would work to save a little room.

Had a 45 fortrex, was fine as little as 5" up the shaft. Got a 52" and 7" up no difference and wish I had a 45 so yeah have at it.
