What prop to try 2007 zx 190 150 hpdi

Hello I’m running a Yamaha prop 23 pitch 3 blade stainless 14 1/2 diameter 23m was wondering what other people are swinging was wondering if I could swing a 24 pitch thanks for any info

How many RPM are you turning that 23 at WOT? You might be able to go up if you're too high now.

You're low. Going up in pitch will only make it worse. You could try raising your jack plate to see if you can get some more RPM out of it. I would think it should turn that 23 closer to 5800. Someone who has or has had the same boat may chime in soon.

I may be getting a few more rpms than I think don’t run to much at wot trimmed up at these little Indiana lakes getting good performance with the 23m but need to get a prop as a spare thought about what my options were if I was to buy a new prop and use the 23m as back up

A 23 Tempest is good prop for that boat.

I run 23m and 23 vmax pro series. Definitely a difference in speed between those 2 being same sizing. Installed dual poles last year so was looking into prop change and I was recommended 4blade Bravo 2 for better holeshot. You Definitely should have closer 5800 then 5300.
