    2009 hub spare question.

My cousin has an 09 18X3 single axle. He is looking for an answer to what I copied below. He isn’t on BBC so I was hoping someone here might have some info. Mainly the size he would need. Thanks in advance.

”I have a 2009 with a trailer that has the VAULT lifetime idler hub. While I have not seen any leakage or experienced any issues, and that the trailer is 12 years old, I was wondering what brand SPARE I should have as I sometimes travel a couple hundred miles to fish. and I have a single axle trailer. have been told I need a 1 3/8 by 1 1/2 idler hub. IS that correct and can you recommend a reliable manufacturer. Plenty on Amazon but I am always skeptical.”

From what I understand the VAULT hub system has been discontinued.
I would call Dexter Axle and ask them what is the replacement hardware need for repair.

Trailer data plate will have axle capacity (likely 3750 or 3500). Your trailer is a marine master and has UFP/Dexter Axles. Call Skip at Waymires....he knows UFP products and can square you away.
