Opinions on this Bullet for sale.

Found this for sale close to home. It’s a 2002 21XDC, 2002 250XB with 150hrs. It’s very clean in the pictures I’ve seen. Has two HDS10’s and a Fortrex. Going to look at it soon, seller is asking 22k. What’s the ballpark I should look to pay for this? THANKS!

Price seems okay, I'd try to get it cheaper. The graphs and trolling motor are good, but not great. Hard to say the condition from one picture.

How much will you have left over for repairs if you pay 22k?

Figure I would pull the injectors and VST and send them to Don for service. Replace the fuel lines, pulse pump, thermostats and water pump.
Replace the trailer tires because they’re original. And go through the bearings, seals and trailer brakes. I’d say about $2k doing the work myself.

Nice boat. My buddy had exact boat minus the dual console. That thing should fly with that XB if it's setup right. He could run mid 80s in his. But be ready to spend some gas money. Because that XB will drink it.

He’s the original owner, and mentioned it has original tires. There’s no doubt I’ll be replacing them.

Yeah, I know they are thirsty motors. I have a 2001 XB modded 225efi now that’s probably just as thirsty. Most lakes and rivers I fish aren’t long runs so I’m willing to deal with the gas bill.

I wouldn't pay 22k for an XB motor... but that's me.

We made a 3 day trip to Guntersville one year. I figured his gas mileage, during the trip, and it was 1.8 miles per gallon. No long idles and never hit WOT. It was a great motor and he never had any problems. As soon as we returned from the trip he traded for a 250 proxs. He had never realized how bad the mpg was.

My bud had that set up , the Xb is the best sounding motor at idle by far , it was a huge gas pig if you can get pass that you will love it. His was a 82-83 solo 80 with two , thats a nice setup.

I wouldn't let the XB motor bother me with 150 hours on it if that's accurate. Those were so.e strong motors and I agree they sound great.

I'm told this boat runs 86.5 with a 26p Trophy. Isn't that blow out territory with a TM case?

If the boat is exceptionally clean and the colors are what you were looking for… I had rather pay all the money for something that is extremely nice and clean no matter the motor or electronics. You can always trade motors or find electronics or a trolling motor you want but it’s hard to find a super clean hull and trailer.

    Totally agree

    I wouldn’t push a TM any harder.
