If you fish small waters you will be fine it’s a 17 foot boat and is a blast to drive with a 150 .These were the skinny of the charger line up.

How much have the 176 hull changed since the mid 90's? I grew up fishing out of my dad's started my love of Charger boats.

Awesome smaller boat handles rough water well, will turn on a dime at almost any speed, solid when setting fishing, and easy to maneuver in tight spaces like docks/timber.

Dad's was over rated had a 175 Yamaha with a phase 2 kit.

That would be a fun boat with a 150!

Checkin on a 186 TF Friday. From pics, it appears in great shape. Has a 175 Yammie, seats appear in great shape, hull looks to be in great shape also.

What year is the 186? Was it local or out of state? The 176 I’m picking up is clear down in Ga.about a 1940 mile round trip
