Gallon of paint and a brush? Does it need to be stripped to bare metal or is this just a touch up job. If it's just touch up then grab a can of spray paint. If it's a total repaint then you're looking at sanding, maybe media blasting then primer and top coat. If you have access to an air compressor and a spray gun you could probably do it fairly inexpensively. If not look for somebody who does it on the side that might do it inexpensively. If you end up at a body shop it's probably going to cost more than it's worth.

Painting a trailer is pretty labor intensive. The cost of paint is pretty small compared to the work.

Labor intensive, plus a lot of wasted paint. Stripping it, Powder coat or paint——- around here it would be $2000. And you are doing the dis-assemble and re-assembly.

Might be more now, price of paint seems to go up every month
