    Dedicated Rods- Frog, Swim Bait

I am interested in adding "2" new rods to my arsenal that qualify in the top 5 of their class, Along with your Reel

    1) ; Frog rod used for Hollow frogs in Florida waters that will handle 50# Braid

2); Swimbait rod for Skinny Dipper, Big Eze and similar type baits both alone and on Swimjigs in Florida waters that will handle 50# Braid

Light balanced setup is the "Key" over cost.

I have an Ish Tatula Elite frog rod paired with a Metanium MGL. I love the rod and money was no object for me either. It balances really good with the Met. I have also heard good things about the Megabass TS Poker as a frog rod.

I've had both the Perfect Pitch and Toadface...either would work, but I prefer the slightly softer fast action tip of the Toadface versus the Extra Fast PP. I can throw lighter frogs farther and walk the dog a little easier...

Megabass frog rods: Orochi XXX Destruction or P5 Tequila Baccarac both are F7, very strong and work bigger frogs well. I'll be running a bantam mgl or Zillion HD, neither are light but have power to pull fish out of cover.

Swimbait- Tour Versatile in Orochi or Levante, Tatula SV 7:3

Another vote for both the Tequila Baccarac or Tatula Elite AGS 74H for a new frog rod.

Frog Rod: The 7'4" Heavy Fast is the rod you want. Legend X 4.9oz $440, Legend Elite 5oz $430, Legend Tournament 5.2oz $300, Victory $200 (I don't know the weight yet). I team mine with a Chronarch D7 and it's perfect. Chronarch MGL is also good but may not have the line capacity. The Scorpion MGL 150XG would also be a good match.
Swimbait Rod: This one is a little tougher because your say 50lb braid. Normally I would say 7' Medium Fast, but you looking heavier, so my recommendations are: Legend Tournament Swim Jig Finesse 7'1" MH X-Fast 4.8oz $290, or the Jig/Swim Bait 7'1" MH Fast 4.9oz $290. Same reels as above but the 6.2:1 retrieve in the Scorpion.

I'd personally use a Toadface for both or given the "top of the class" comment contact Alex and have him build you a custom on the FL4 blank.

My dedicated frog rod kept in Florida is an OG Tatula 7'4" HF. Locally I bought a Toadface. It weighs 4.25 oz. Never weighed the Tatula, but I am going to guess it won't weigh much more than the Toadface. I don't have a dedicated swimbait rod so I can't offer advice there.

Thanks for the great advice from all, I am thinking something 7’3”-7’4” soft tip w/backbone for the frog
    and 7’3”-7’6” moderate for Swimbaits
